American Resilience - Freedom Flag Project

Now more than ever we need a symbol that can unite our country.  The flag is non-partisan and socially inclusive and represents American unity and resilience.  It is recognized around the world as a symbol of freedom.  

 

The mission is to create a FREEDOM graphic design using a beautiful painting of our flag.  It could be used on flags, bumper stickers, hats, shirts, lapel pins, cups, etc. It would have the words FREEDOM and One Nation Under God on it.  You could personalize it by inserting a service insignia and freedom in different languages celebrating our country's great diversity.  It would be distributed through the various Veteran Associations as a fundraiser.

 

After contacting several different VA associations, and there are many, their representatives were supportive of the idea.  They felt the products would have to be very special in order to work.  They also said they wanted their association's identity included in the design if they were to sell them.  This is accomplished by leaving space for customization in the design.

 

Creating a beautiful music video showcasing flag paintings throughout the country would be a compelling way to introduce these products.  The music chosen (country, rap, classical, etc.) could represent each location; be it rural, city, or suburban neighborhoods which in turn would garner wide appeal and exposure.  Support from well-known artists would again demonstrate the unity of art, music, and patriotism.

 

The country is so divided that we need something that gives the SILENT MAJORITY a voice.  Millions of billboards, flags, trucks, motorcycles, storefronts and people of all ages with this non-partisan symbol would be an outward sign of the love of the flag and country as well as honoring the sacrifices of those that serve.
